ABOUT SHIPPING: If you purchase BOTH the set of glasses and one (or both) of the snack shells, the shipping charge you will see will be double or triple, depending on what you are purchasing. However, I do offer combined shipping! After you purchase all the pieces you want, you can click \"Request invoice from Seller.\" I\'ve had some buyers tell me they don\'t see that button. But don\'t worry - I do refund the overpayment when I prepare your items for shipping. You can help me out by sending me a message asking for a refund of the shipping difference to make sure I don\'t forget!

Offered here are various pieces of vintage Trader Vic\'s shotgun shell line. This mid-century glassware was made by Imperial Glass Company sometime between 1950 and 1970 especially for Trader Vic\'s. (Morgantown Glass Company was occasionally contracted by Imperial Glass to produce these if Imperial\'s production line was at capacity(. All of the pieces in this line look like shotgun shells. These were used by Trader Vic\'s for serving their signature cocktail, Gun Club Punch. The green colored glass with REAL GOLD overlay was meant to match Winchester ammunition. It was also produced in red glass to match Remington ammunition.

No chips, cracks, or unusual wear on any of these pieces. I will describe each glass in detail:

THE SET OF 4 GLASSES: (These are being sold together; please don\'t ask me if I will split them up). The smallest one is embossed \"Little Shot X\" on the bottom. Stands 3 1/8\" tall. Only a teeny tiny amount of gold loss around the bottom rim. The other three glasses are all embossed on the bottoms, \"HALF SHOT XXX XXX\". These stand about 3 1/2\" tall. On two of these, the gold overlay is nearly completely intact - you have to look hard to find tiny spots of loss on each. The third one has minor-to-moderate wear to the gold on the bottom, no doubt from sliding around on tables during its years of service.

THE SNACK SHELL: (I have two of these, but I am selling them separately). Extremely rare -- you\'ll have a hard time finding another example of one of these. In fact, the lack of information about this piece is so profound that I am thinking the two I have may have been produced as sample pieces that were never actually added to the line. Who knows. At any rate, this piece stands about 4 1/2\" tall. The opening measures about 5 1/2\" in diameter, and the bottom footprint measures about 5 7/8\" in diameter. These pieces never had gold overlay -- either because it would have been too expensive because of the size, or because these were simply sample pieces that never made it into production. The bottom is embossed, \"XXX Snack XXX Shell\". Besides holding snacks, it would also make a great ice bucket!

Consider purchasing more than one to take advantage of combined shipping! If you are a collector of this hard-to-find barware, here\'s a chance to add some pieces in great condition to your collection!

I am listing many other items on , including other vintage glassware and barware. Please check my other listings, as I will be happy to combine shipping.

I do not accept returns. Please read the description and examine the photos carefully, and ask questions if you are unsure about anything. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.
