DESCRIPTION FOR THIS sale

sale features sharp high-grade Silver Age copies of \"The Atom\" #17 published by DC Comics in March, 1965 and \"The Atom\" #21 published by DC Comics in November, 1965. Issue #17 is a sharp comic with only minor to moderate general wear. Minor spine stress lines and abrasion and a slightly miscut cover is about it. Flat and square with nice color and gloss and supple cream to off-white to white pages and cover. Issue #21 is also a sharp comic with only minor to moderate general wear. Minor spine stress lines and a printer/bindery error (light ridge in paper) on the front and back cover is about it. Flat and square with nice color and gloss and supple cream to off-white to white pages and cover. I think both of these comics are somewhere in the VF 8.0 to VF/NM 9.0 range but you can look over the high resolution scans and make your own call on that. Bagged and boarded.Bagged and boarded.

ABOUT GRADING

Insofar as grading is concerned, just check my response profile: 3000+ with 100% positive over more than 15 years on - most of which involved sales of comics. If I screw something up I make it right. However, I do not guarantee individual grades on large lots. Like any other skilled grader, I will not be 100% on the mark all the time so I do not want to get into debates about one or two comics out of a hundred being off by a grade. Large lots typically sell for bargain prices so no nitpicking allowed. CGC, on the other hand, is on them. I do not back CGC grading. That is their job.
