I have for sale today is a sporterized Krag 1898 stock. It is a shame that someone butchered this stock, but here we are. The stock has been bobbed, removing the forearm. The forearm has been removed above the middle bans so the forearm could be repaired without much problem. The butt plate goes with the stock. There are not inspectors marks for any marking on this stock. I suspect any marks have been sanded off. The stock has been heavily sanded. It has a nice finish and the wood looks good with no cracks.There are no guarantees written or implied. As sales are final. This item is sold AS-IS. Look at my response, offer with confidence.
