VINTAGE St. Francis of Assisi Relic Medal Cross

with visible particles from his tomb.

Hard to find one of these older ones, newer versions are lightweight and have what looks like new soil inside. This one has tiny rocks or what some call large dust particles. They are very visible as you can see, have several inside, and medal itself is in the more unusual cruciform shape, very nice. Reverse has image of Saint Francis and has inscription S. FRANCISCO TERRA DELLA TOMBA. Measures 1\" long and wide, silvertone with glass relic compartment, on vintage loop safety pin broochas found.
