This lovely, Staffordshire Enamels box has a purple thistle flower, the floral emblem of Scotland, with a lattice background. Four petals are at the intersections, of the lattice, forming flowers. Diagonal vines of purple buds and leaf stalks, and tiny dots are on the side. A thistle is painted inside. The box has a diameter of 1.4" with aheight of 1.1". "Staffordshire Enamels - Made in England in the Old Bilston Battersea Tradition" with a big "S" in the center, is on the bottom.
