It\'s offered to your attention the sewage tank for Russian lavatory and shower intended to be used aboard spacecraft of Soyuz family and space stations from Salyut to ISS. This tank has never been used for its purpose, i.e. it never had feces or urine in it. It is not flown in space. The tank has been used for the crew members training in Russian Cosmonaut Training Center to explain its design features and principles of its work, as a part of space lavatory. It is absolutely the same model what cosmonauts use in space. Such tanks are to be installed in habitation module of Soyuz orbiter, or at the toilet or shower cabins of the space station, and never return to the Earth after use.The sewage tank is made of a light metal alloy and has a very light weight. It comes with two covers for its inlet and outlet, appropriately marked with yellow and black.The measurements of the tank are:

There are two urinals included at the lavatory. The one is separate, complete with conical metal urine receptacle with metal cover and the reserve hand-force vacuum pump. The other one is made of plastic, has a plastic lid and combined with feces receptacle. For receiving feces the lavatory has a special container where cosmonauts can install removable incontinence sealed bags. The urine goes through the vacuum pipeline to the sewage cylindrical tank. After use of urinal, the pipeline is closed by a tap, and the urinal is covered with a lid to prevent unpleasant smells. The feces remain sealed in the bags.Condition - good for its age, never used as intended, has no unpleasant smell. There are traces of dirt on the tank, as well as slight dents and scratches.Made in Russia.
