This vintage* male nude beefcake photograph by photographer Don WHITMAN dating from the late 1940s or early \'50s, and features a smooth, handsome, beefy bodybuilder in a sensually lit studio pose.

The reverse is stamped \"Western Photography Guild,\" and numbered Series 19, No. 5-2. The stamped address on the reverse is from the pre-zip-code era, making this a very early print for the studio.

Whitman\'s Western Photography Guild images are some of the most photographically beautiful and collectible nude male images of the mid-20th Century. The deep, clear sky of the American West played as much of a starring role in Don Whitman\'s photographs as did his male models. One could almost hear the music of Aaron Copland swelling in the background as the hunky giants wrestled and danced along the ridges of the Rockies.

The 4-by-5-inch vintage photograph is expertly printed on heavy stock and is in very good condition. Quality and clarity are very good.
