*Enchanting Vintage Religious Figure Sculpture, Child Jesus. This is a \"Child of Prague\" figure, once dressed, the clothing has gone astray over the years, giving the \"Statue Figurine\" a kind of \"Relic / Artifact\" vibe. Body is carved of wood, with composite head and hands, and all kinds of other cool details, from the little metal crown and boots, to the miniature \"Globe surmounted by a cross, known as a globus cruciger\", he holds in his left hand (which symbolizes Christ\'s universal kingship.).
He also has a longs string of multi-colored glass beads, which was definitely added to adorn him. \"According to Irish wedding tradition, the Child of Prague is meant to bring the promise good weather on your wedding day. But, this little guy has some pretty specific (yet also very unclear) requirements to ensure the good weather.\" Perfect for Home Altar Décor.

*Excellent vintage condition, with definite signs of age and wear, all adding to the super rich, naturally aged patina. ***He does have a couple of nails at the back of his feet for support, as he will not stand alone without them.
