The case has 1 side of the handle that’s loose, so best to get it fixed before grabbing it. I just use it as a cover since it doesn’t secure the typewriter enough, because the brackets in the back aren’t in use (see photos please).
Not sure on the year but I believe it’s early 1900’s.
