A rare RW Rudolstadt porcelain Lady head jar with hat lid. Beautiful details, in the style of a large toby mug - yet without the handle. Lovely pastel colors of cream, pink, pale & navy blue. Wonderful "transparent" effect of pale blue vail draped over the face, complete with navy polka dots. Pink ribbon hat band and lavendar bow tie accent her finely rendered face. Great dreamy expression. Measures approx. 7.5" tall x 6.5"w x 6"d. Two chips to rim, overall crazing consistent with age. Flea bite to base. Minor paint loss. Hallmarked on the bottom with RW insignia, Germany, Rudolstadt.
