This is a super rare special hand written ORIGINAL Apollo mission envelope that was for employees at the launch to mail to an address. It has the postage mark from the date of the launch. Awesome piece hand written by Gene Horton who was a NASA LEGEND associated with this mission and many more over the years. He served as the NASA Apollo Missions Specialist, Senior Medical Officer , Project Specialist, Public Relations Officer, Employee Relations Officer and more during his tenure at NASA. It has nothing inside. It came from the collection of a gentleman who worked for NASA for 27 years from 1952 to 1979. The envelope is addressed to him and his wife.
