A cabinet specimen of a thick layer of off-white radiating willemite on a matrix of calcite and franklinite. Radiating willemite normally has an outstanding phosphorescent response(after you turn the light off, it still glows). This effect can be seen in photos 6, 7 & 8. UV photos taken under shortwave UV. Collected at the Franklin Mine in Franklin, NJ. Measures 3-3/4\" x 1-3/4\" x 2\". Weight is 1 lb. 4 oz. or 562 grams.
You must have a 254nm shortwave UV lamp to best view the fluorescent response of this specimen.I always combine shipping whenever possible. I ship by 2-day or 3-day USPS Priority Mail. I carefully pad and pack each item securely in a cardboard mailing box. I do not offer a gift box or gift wrapping. I include a label and/or any old labels with each mineral specimen.
