**RARE Item** From a Father of Modern Jewish Art. Original 1971 "Workshop Color PROOF" (Apparently 1 of 1) of RUEVEN RUBIN (1893-1974) from series "The Commandments" titled "Thou Shalt Not Kill". This vintage print by the Romanian - Israeli Modernist Judaic Art trailblazer is inscribed in pencil "Workshop Color Print" and "Accepted by Rubin via Rabinowitz-Mendelson on June 10,1971". This date is BEFORE the Limited Edition series of this piece were created. This rare item is in excellent condition and sits in a 28" x 22" metal frame. The frame itself has some blemishes.
