I am the creator, writer, and publisher. Red Ram number one was kickstarted in 2023. Issues two, three and four will be coming out on Kickstarter in 2025.

Of note, there were only 25 copies of this Variant issue printed. It is also a special, rare error edition, where two pages of dialogue balloon text was incorrectly printed from the printer. Any future re-printing will have corrected text balloon coloring.

What comes hand, signed by myself, with a certificate of authenticity verification, that is also signed by me, verifying that 25 copies were printed. Each is also individually numbered, this picture shows number 14, but the actual number you will receive will be based on the available stock.

The Red Ram: Toxic Suicide #1 is a 22-page comic book that follows Technology Titan RJ Ronaldson who is at the end of his battle-damaged vigilante career. But before RJ can set down his mantle, he gets roped into one last war with his arch-nemesis.

Along the way, he is sidelined by a suicidal female and her psychiatrist. This leads the Red Ram down a winding tale involving alcoholism, opioid addiction, depression, anxiety, narcissism and even suicide.

Will order be restored or will these darker forces overtake and prevail in today’s rapidly advancing world?

Why I created The Red Ram

Hello, My name is Paul Rashid. I am a comic book reader and collector for over 30 years. I am also a psychiatrist and work with people every day who struggle with mental health issues ranging from Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, and even Suicidal Thoughts. I've personally experienced anxiety and severe panic attacks as well.

I wanted to tell a dark, vigilante, psychological thriller that dealt with these devastating emotional, personal and societal issues head-on. Much like the great Neal Adams did with Green Lantern vol. 2 # 85 and 86 story arc entitled “Snowbirds Don’t Fly” where Speedy, Green Arrow’s ward, becomes addicted to heroin and Green Lantern vol. 2 #76 which addresses racism.

The result is The Red Ram, a comic book adventure about real-life issues and for mature readers.
