Own a very rare piece of American history with this first (the Chronicle printed multiple Extra edition papers on this date) EXTRA edition of The Houston Chronicle printed on November 24, 1963. Extra newspaper editions were run later in the day on short notice (after the regular edition was printed and delivered)for special newsbreaking events. This paper was printed and sold in Houston, Texas, on the afternoon of November, 24, 1963. Earier that morning U.S. President John F. Kennedy\'s alleged assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas, by Jack Ruby. This paper has been stored in a trunk for the last several decades in the desert Southwest (very dry climate) which has preserved the paper well. The paper itself is slightly yellowed and complete with all pages intact (see images). Also included are close-up images of front page titles/articles.
