I have for your consideration an incredible piece of MCM Italian pottery that you just won't find everyday, this impressive DESIMONE pottery cat.
Made in Italy for VIETRI.
It's fully marked as shown on the underside 164/7 and signed by the artist LM
This is something that I've owned for a very long time. The condition is Absolutely perfect. There is NOT a flaw to be found.
It's beautifully thrown...beautifully painted...It's a stunning piece.
It's rather large. It measures 10 3/4" in height. 10 1/2" in length from the nose to the tip of the tail. It measures 8 1/2" wide.
There is some writing on the bottom of the right foot that reads LM 99.99 with what appears to be the Lira sign and what appears to be a Y most likely from the shop it was purchased from in Sicily.
The condition is TOTALLY mint. There is NOT a flaw to be found. I've NEVER been one to throw the rare word around but this certainly does qualify.
I've priced it appropriately to say the very least. Don't miss out on this GREAT piece. You'd be hard pressed to find another. I will package it like I'd expect something to be packaged if I purchased it.
