You are buying a old C&O Railroad dome food cover with four vent holes. It has gold trim and George Washington on it. Marked Olde Ivory Buffalo China, Made Expressly For Chesapeake & Ohio-RR, 1732 Bicentennial 1932.

It is about 2 1/2 inches tall to the top of the handle about 6 1/4 inches wide across the bottom rim.

There are no cracks but there are two very small chips on the bottom rim and I don\'t believe it was made that way. Some of this china has some blemishes. Gold has quite a bit of wear and there are lots of scratches. Handle has heavy wear and around the top it has wear to the glazing in some areas. Very neat item!!
