A nice LARGER sized 7 1/8" tall rectangular-shaped clear-glass antiqueOWL DRUG CObottle. This is theRARE - 12 OUNCE SIZE bottle, an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE blown-glass CORK TOP bottle, dating over 100 years old.

Bottle embossed: "The Owl Drug Co." on back shoulder, then on the front it has an embossed picture of a LARGE owl perched on a druggists' mortar, stirring a pestle. The mortar is embossed with, "TODCO". TODCo = The Owl Drug Co.
Condition: A good, solid, heavy set bottle. It is in PRISTINE SPARKING CLEAN condition, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. See pictures for accurate idea of label's appearance.
Age: An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE blown-glass (ABM) bottle with a cork-top, ca. early 1900's.

A nice larger sized bottle. For whatever reason, these 7 1/8" tall - 12 ounce size Owl Drug bottles are very hard to find. Even some of the advanced Owl Drug bottle collectors don't even realize they exist because they've never seen one. Yet it is clearly a different size, as the next larger size up is the 7 3/4" size, and the next smaller size down is the 6" tall, so it isn't a case of it being just a shorter wider bottle or taller narrower bottle, it is a distinctly different size which go from 10 oz. in the 6" size to 12 oz. in this 7" size, to 16 oz. in the 8" size. The bottle was in a large Owl Drug bottle collection we purchased and has been in a box for literally decades. It is a nice example, the embossed bird on it is strong and crisp, and this size bottle is about impossible to find with aPAPER LABEL.A PRISTINE ANDRARE bottle, HARD to FIND, check it out!
