This is the original RAMCHECK DDR2 memory tester. While it is a discontinued system, it is still great for testing DDR2 DIMMs with its built-in 240-pin test socket. Even better, it works with all current RAMCHECK test adapters, ranging from DDR3 DIMMs and SO-DIMMs to legacy 30-pin SIMMs. Thousands have been sold around the world! Please contact us for more information.)The package includes the RAMCHECK base tester, DDR2 DIMM adapter, universal power supply, CD software containing the optional PC software interface (for SPD programming and printing/logging test results) and printed manual. (Optional carrying case and 168-pin PC133 SDRAM socket are not included.)Using our enhanced proprietary algorithms, RAMCHECK runs a thorough test on memory modules, testing every memory cell. All chips are tested simultaneously to yield a faster test and to enable RAMCHECK to detect errors that are caused by interference among the chips on the module. RAMCHECK is not merely a go/no-go memory tester. In fact, it explicitly identifies the faulty bits within a defective module, giving specific pin number information relating to the problem chip.RAMCHECK is very fast. Here are sample test times.This RAMCHECK unit is new, not used. It is a discontinued item, replaced by our current RAMCHECK LX generation of memory testers.
