PLANK of YOKOHAMA 1910 JAPAN Hand Tinted Postcard Scarce Japanese Image Card:
$32.95
Plank of Yokohama, photo view, tinted postcard. An early view, and a scarce postcard. Postmarked I believe 1910 to Baltimore. Condition is as shown in photos, a little rough on corners. This card is from a collection of postcards that I acquired belonging to Mr Gordon Malvern Fair Stick and Jacob Monroe Stick of Baltimore, Md. Mr Stick and his wife went to Japan for Missionary work in 1902. Their son Gordon was born in Nagoya Japan in 1903. The family returned to the states in 1908. Mr Stick was a well known community leader in Baltimore. Information is available for him on several online sites. .
