Ofra Friedland was born in Haifa, Israel in 1959. She is considered today one of the most significant contemporary Israeli artists. Her work encompasses oils, murals, tapestry, ceramics and sculpture.

There are literally hundreds of people all over the world creating images of Jerusalem, the Bible and the Land of Israel. Yet only a few have done a truly magnificent work.
