This is a factory-sealed, genuine boxed set of the licensed GITCorp Absolutely MAD 50+ years collection. I had a few cases of these, and am down to my last few units.
CONDITION:The box will be in handsome, glossy condition, suitable for collecting, gift-giving, or a bonfire.
FEATURES:

Every issue from 1952 - 2005; the sets were issued in 2006 and are the last printed collection. An earlier collection by Broderbund exists on 7 CDs, but these only run up to 1998.
The issues are in PDF format, and at least for the earlier years, are scans of actual magazines because no digital proof would exist.
To view them properly, you'll need to transfer the entire contents of the disc (about 7GB) to your hard drive. There is no install program, so I include novice instructions in case you're unfamiliar with how to do this.
You can then either open issues individually like any other PDF file, or you can use the cover art browsing system that lets you click a decade, then a year, then an individual cover to open that magazine. Browsing through the covers requires you first to download and install the free Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe, then set it to be your default PDF opener. I also include novice instructions for this.
If you want to view on a mobile device, this is possible if you transfer the files from your computer. Some PDF viewers on mobile devices may show a watermark on the pages, so you may need to do a little experimenting to find the right app.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

A Windows or Mac PC, sold new within the last 10 years.
A good working disc drive for initial setup. The drive is not needed once the issues have been transferred to your computer.
A preference for juvenile satire and body humor.

HOW I SHIP:I take extra care with these sets to ensure they arrive in gift-worthy condition. I secure the box in a layer of bubble wrap, then post in a new, strong shipping box with four sides of packing peanut fill.
