Vernon Views beginning in 1878. The stereoview is from the set MT. VERNON VIEWS and is titled as follows TOMB OF WASHINGTON, MT. VERNON -- with a note and the date of Jan. 23rd 1882. The copyright date on the stereoview is 1880. The note on the back reads as follows "Steamer W. W. Corcoran on Potomac River". The W.W. Corcoran was the first ship built for Captain Blake and McKibben and was inaugurated into service in 1878. The ship was named after a wealthy Georgetown Businessman. The Corcoran plied the waters of the Potomac River until it burned in 1891.-- I will accept PAYPAL.
