Here is an exquisite specimen featuring two Mioplosus labracoides and a Priscacara serrata. It\'s from the Dempsey Quarry located near Kemmerer Wyoming. These beautiful fish swam in the subtropical freshwater of Fossil lake 52 million years ago during the Eocene time period.
This plate been backed to the highest quality plywood and can easily be hung on the wall using a french cleat. all of the fish except for the Mioplosus at the top have been inlaid into the stone. I like to call this type of piece a fossilized aquarium. All of our fossils have small amounts of restoration. We have a huge selection of fossil fish, plants insects and other rare specimens.
