Adorable vintage, miniature porcelain figurines (2), one of a cat and the other a dog. White porcelain, hand painted and glazed, they are black and white with some red details. The cat measures 1 1/2\" high, 2\" wide and 1 1/2\" from front to back. She is a blue-eyed, white cat with black and grey ears, black tail and black on the tips of her feet. She lays on her back, head up holding a white with red polka dot ball in her 4 paws. The dog is 1 3/4\" high, 1 3/4\" wide and 1 1/2\" from front to back. He is all white with black flopped over ears, black front paws and a black tail. He sits with his eyes closed and has a red collar on. There is paint wear on this pup, on the ears, collar, paws and tail. He does seem totally bored or annoyed with the cat next to him playing!! The style, paint and size are typical of those figurines made in Japan in the 1950\'s. Great for a mini animal collection and perfect size for a shadow box or a window sill!!
