This is a very nice specimen from an old Eastern USA collection consisting masses of small crystals of light brownish FLUORAPATITE crystals on a light-colored matric from the classic and long-closed Foote Lithium Company Mine, Kings Mountain Mining District, Cleveland County, North Carolina, USA, where collecting has been forofferden for many years. The specimen is 5.2 by 4.1 by 3.2 cms in size or about 2.08 by 1.64 by 1.28 inches and weighs 81.4 grams. This is a must for all serious collectors of classic USA localities.
