1. Codeine Lozenges from John T. HancockManufacturing Pharmacists, Baltimore, Maryland.This bottle is more of a tube or vial that stands 4.5” tall and just0.75” across the bottom. The bottle hascomplete original label that wraps around the entire bottle. The label instructs user to dissolve a tabletslowly on the tongue every one to two hours.The bottle is still wrapped in its brown tissue (can be removed by newowner) and is still sealed with paper seal over the cork and the lozengesinside (for display purposes only, not to be used).

2. Small bottle with red poison label for CodeinePhosphate from Powers & Weightman, Philadelphia. The bottle stands just 1.75” tall andoriginally contained one-eight ounce of codeine phosphate. The bottle is free from damage and is corkedbut empty with a bit of dried content residue.Label states “Poison” on both sides of a skull and crossbonesimage. The label is in good conditionwith minor fading and toning from age.
