Group lot of 2 comic books from King\'s THE PHANTOM series -- #19 and #26. These comics were published by King -- one in Dec 1960 and the other in Dec 1967. The beautiful covers both picture the purple-clad hero. I am not an expert on grading the condition of comics, so please forgive me if I do not use the correct terminology. And the grades of condition are not meant to follow any industry standards, they are just common sense grading -- as if I was grading any collectable. But I always try to be strict in my grading. Overall Condition: GOOD+/VERY GOOD .... These comics show light to moderate signs of use/handling, including: mild spine/edge wear, corner creases, plus some small surface dings. In addition, #19 has an area of top-layer-paper-loss on the back cover. However, none of these flaws are too terribly distracting, and otherwise, the comics are still in pretty nice shape. NEAR MINT - A comic that shows little to no signs of handling, as if it was just purchased from the corner store. ....... EXCELLENT - A comic that was maybe read once or twice, with light signs of use/handling, such as minor spine/edge wear. ....... VERY GOOD - A comic that has been read and show average signs of use/handling. In this condition, a comic may show some or all of the following: spine/edge wear, corner creases, light to moderate roll on spine, small surface dings -- but there will be no major flaws. ....... GOOD - A below average condition example that has been read numerous times. In this condition, a comic may show some or all of the following: writing on covers or inside pages, spine/edge wear, corner creases, cover or page tears, heavier roll on spine, soiling, a bit of fading. ....... FAIR - A well-below average condition example that has been read numerous times. In this condition, a comic may show some or all of the following: pieces missing from cover, heavy edge/surface wear, writing on covers or inside pages, numerous chips/wear along the edges, multiple creases, tears on covers/pages, heavy roll on spine, serious staining/soiling, fading. ....... POOR - A well-below average condition example that has seen better times. In this condition, a comic may show some or all of the flaws of a Fair copy, but may also have: missing much of the cover, crumpled pages, heavy wear of all kinds, multiple creases/tears.
