The olive wood is naturally saturated with oil and extremely dense therefore it would be difficult to burn however it is WOOD and will eventually burn if you try hard enough.
To maintain your Olive Wood tray like new:
- Occasionally coat with olive oil to prevent the wood from drying.
- Do not leave soaking in water or exposed to heat.
- Hand wash only, not suitable for dishwashers.
