This letter, which has also been encapsulated in a PSA/DNA Authentication acrylic holder intended for long term preservation and display purposes, was written by John to the Commissary at United States Penitentiary, Marion in Illinois where he was serving out his life sentence. 

The letter reads word for word, line by line:

"Attn. Commissary,

I'm a bit confused - my fault, not yours - 

as to what comes off and what doesn't. So if I have room

left, I'd like a pair of large sweat pants.
