This pretty elephant necklace, 29" long and probably vintage, is hand carved from what looks like bovine bone. It has 12 small elephant fetishes and one 3-inch long tube with two elephants carved into it. All but about 5" down on each side of the closure is 3- or 4-strand. There are three different styles/shapes of beads. Metal spacers were also used, and large metal orbs keep the tube in place. It drapes in a somewhat assymetrical fashion. Check out the photos, you'll see it.

Some of the disc-shaped beads have shape variations, but they look natural and not damage per se. These are not particularly noticeable. The tube is intact and fine.
