This ceramic Amphora is about 2000 years old, according to my dive master. The unbroken Amphora were about 3-4 feet long, as I recall. Those were left alone, to be put in a museum at some point. This piece was among the broken pieces that were strewn around the ship wreck. I found it about 50 years ago while diving an ancient ship wreck. There are marine encrustations. It measures approximately 11" long, 7" high, and 7" at its widest.That's me on the left holding the item.
