Hello and thank you for looking. For your consideration is a beautiful and well preserved fossil of a spinal vertebrae. I seek to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions, so I will state that this fossil was presented to me as being confirmed as belonging to one of the members of the saber toothed cats of the Eocene/Pleistocene epochs. I did not personally see documentation of this identification, however I acquired this from an avid fossil hunter, who I know to bring his fossils to be identified at the state university.

The fossil measures just under 3 inches in diameter. Of note is clearly visible spinal cord that runs through the spinal canal of this fossil.

I have perfect response, so please offer with confidence. In my time selling on , I have had one item for sale which I learned after posting, was likely not authentic.
