Gemini Genomics Plc IPO stock prospectus. 2000. Rare dot-com era artifact.:
For collectors of financial markets/Wall Street ephemera, here's a relic not offered anywhere else: An authentic, original prospectus for the 2000 initial public offering (IPO) of stock by Gemini Genomics Plc.. The American depositary shares were priced at $5 each by its underwriters, SG Cowen and Chase Hambrecht & Quist. Gemini described itself as "a clinical genomics company, which means that we identify relationships between human genes and human health and disease." It was a development-stage company with only $1.2 million in revenue and a $22.9 million net loss in fiscal 2000. The company was led by Michael Fitzgerald as chairman, Paul Kelly as president and CEO, Howard Christley as chief medical officer, Patrick Kleyn as chief scientific officer and Tony Ratcliffe as CFO.
The prospectus is in excellent condition. I am the original owner, having received it from one of the underwriters in 2000. It has 85 main and 31 supplemental financial pages.
Shipping is $6 because I will mail it in a bubble-lined envelope, which is rated as a package by the US Postal Service. I will send the buyer a tracking number.
