A wonderful specimen of galena and sphalerite on matrix from Missouri. The galena forms as silvery metallic cubic crystals present all throughout the specimen. Some dark red “ruby jack” sphalerite are seen as well. The chert matrix adds nice contrast to the specimen. In excellent condition. The mine has been closed for a long time so no new specimens have been coming out. This piece was from an older collection. The piece measures approximately 7.5 inches by 5.5 inches. Displayable on both sides!
