GBS-8200 3D Printed Enclosure - Commodore Amiga StyleEnclosure Only - electronics are not includedThis listing is a 3D printed enclosure for the GBS-8200 video scalar board. It has been designed to hold a GBS-8200 and a BIT-C128 or GGLabs CGA2RGB converter. I recommend using 3M double-sided tape to secure the converter, if you use one.
The proprietary PLA filament used is color-matched to be as close as possible to a Commodore Amiga 500, but it would be right at home atop a Commodore 128 as well. Please keep in mind the age of these machines and the discoloration that can occur.
The enclosure uses heat-inserts to retain the fasteners. The design is such that the screws should sit flush with the bottom of the case. Over tightening is not recommended. Every enclosure was assembled and disassembled as part of the quality control process.
What you'll get:
- Two enclosure halves (top and bottom)
- Six (6) screws
- One (1) Allen wrench
- Four (4) silicone bumpers (for the bottom enclosure)
- Four (4) black "tall button" caps
- Four (4) yellow "short button" caps
You'll only need to use one set of the yellow or black button caps, depending on the version of the GBS board you have. Some GBS boards have tall buttons (4.5mm) and others have short buttons (3.5mm). The caps adjust for this difference.
Not CGA2RGB converter
