This is an amazing association plate of invertebrates from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. The mainanimal on the slab isGogia spiralis. This unusual echinoderm used to be classified as an eocrinoid, butis now thought to be a cystoid. The elongate, multi-plated, sac-like holdfast is intact and very distinct. The large-plated, nodose calyxis quite evident, and the twisted, spiraled arms are beautifully displayed in an open, splayed position.But that\'s not all -thereis also a complete trilobite (Peronopsis) and a soft-bodied worm preserved on thisplate!All of these specimens exhibit incredible detail. The fossils have great color and contrast and are well showcased on the large plate of shale. This is a very collectibleassociation plate of three very different Middle Cambrian organisms.
