Great engraved paintingofhim standin in full uniform, with sword, andhishorse. Winfield Scott served in War of 1812, was ultimatelyGeneral in Chief in Mexican War in 1848, as well asCivil War in 1861 !!

Nice print, and subject measures about 5 1/2\" x 7 1/2, increased to 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 by the border.

A gorgeous piece, quite suitable for framing, and a great collectable decoration for a variety of Civil War, War of 1812, or even Revolutionary War related collections. An early one, DONE IN 1858!!! OVER 160 YEARS OLD!!!
