Additional Product is for a kit that will replace the APPS - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor that is used in 2003 - 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, 3500 with the 5.7L Hemi motors (all of those with manual and auto trans), as well as the 2003 Dodge RAM 1500 5.9L V8, and also 2003-2004 Dodge RAM 2500 & 3500 with the L6 - 5.9 Diesel with Manual Transmissions only.THIS IS FOR THE DODGE RAM TRUCKS THAT HAVE THE APPS MOUNTED UNDER THE BATTERY TRAY ONLY. If the APPS is not mounted in the bell housing under the battery tray, then you have a different style APPS and as of this writing, your actual APPS is still available and you shouldn\'t need to retro-fit this kit.This kit includes:
-New APPS / Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
-New Retro-Fit 6 pin wire harness to replace the OEM Dodge 6 pin form factor.
-Instructions and diagrams to perform the installation including the wiring color codes from old to new wiring.
-Self-Soldering Heat Shrink connectors for a permanent electrical connection and long term water and corrosion durability.
-Support if you run into any difficulties through messaging - I stand behind this kit.
Installation time:
-If you already have your battery tray out, which you probably do if you found this kit and know you need a new APPS, you should be able to replace the part in about an hour including re-installing the battery tray.
-If you are starting from scratch, you should be able to replace this in about 1.5 to 2 hours.
IF YOU NEED AN APPS AND HAVE FOUND THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE OEM ANYMORE, THEN THIS KIT INCLUDES INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL PARTS NEEDED TO MAKE YOUR RAM 1500, 2500, 3500 with 5.7L HEMI AND 2500 and 3500 WITH 5.9L DIESEL WITH MANUAL TRANS ONLY, APPS WORKING AGAIN.This solves a problem with not being able to get the OEM part but by using a different sensor which has mostly the same dimensions but uses a different wiring harness. And if the sensor ever fails again, the retro-fit new wire harness will fit regularly available and still manufactured replacement APPS from other car brands so you won\'t have to worry about finding out of manufacture and hard to find used parts for your APPS again. I have now also upgraded the warranty for this to lifetime. If you ever have a problem with the sensor not working, I will send you a warranty replacement sensor as long as you can prove you have purchased this item from me. The replacement will only be the sensor, not a new full kit with the wiring harness as the harness should be reusable with any new sensor.
