This is a really neat piece from the 1950s. It's a pledge of allegiance plaque with American flags from Disneyland Main Street USA.

I think the plaque was made in the 1950s but I think that this was sold in the early to mid 1969s. This would have been sold as a piece of Main Street USA.

Here's the thing, in the early 1960s $7.50 was worth about $85 today an exorberant amount of money to spend at a theme park back then. $7.50 is more than it cost to get into the park and do all the rides and probably eat for a person back then.

Back in the day , they did sell some pieces of the park. I think that this might have been a piece from the park that was sold so people could own a piece of Disneyland.

If it were a simple gift shop item something like this in the late 1950s early 1960s would have cost about $2 at the most. Which is the price of a souvenir that somebody might buy. But $7.50 plus tax in the 1960s was a lot of money.

Gift shop items similar to this would have sold for about $2 at this time so that makes this one very expensive at $7.50.

This is made of metal and is about 14 and 1/2 in tall. Overall it is in great condition.
