This small poster is for a Day on the Grass II, May 28th,in 1978 . It was a gathering in support of the marijuana initiative of the time, work which is finally been realized 40 years later in 2018.The name being a play on Day on the Green concerts being presented by Bill Graham. Music for this free event was provided by Moby grape, Leila and the Snakes, and others.

The speakers included the recently departed Dennis Perrin, Harvey Milk, Ed Rosenthal and others. Master of Ceremonies was Wavy Gravy.The poster is on thin paper, it has a horizontal crease Midway up but it's been flattened for many years so it is not highly obvious except from the rear. Please see the photos there is also a small bit of crud at the top Center ,tape remnant? Still very nice looking. The color of the paper is consistent goldenrod throutghout, unlike the photo. Sizes 8.5 x 13, cool and historical handbill.
