The person I bought this from in 2021 said they got it from a Sergeant Major in the Marine Corps who got it from Crye Precision for a trial run when they were a Gunnery Sergeant in Quantico Virginia Marine Sniper School. Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) Confirmed 1 of 1 ever made.

As far as I\'ve been able to research, MARPAT Urban was only produced between 2000 - 2002 for testing but was never adopted by the USMC.

With that being said, it\'s in extremely good condition for over 20 years old.

No rips or tears.

XS R Combat top overlaid for size reference.

Designed to cover and be worn with full kit and main pack.

Stitching is in excellent condition and buttons are all in tact with great stitching.

non stow-able hood plus a very large button up collar.

The main closure is button up - the exact same style as current standard Marine corps cammies.

Front breast and shoulder pockets in the same style and configuration as current Marine Corps cammies.

Also feels like the same exact material as current Marine Corps cammies.

Large YKK pit zips.

Single button lower front pockets with pass-through holes for gear access.

Wrist, hood, and very bottom drawcord cinches.

Also, not mentioned in the video, and just realized, there is 1 additional button closure at the very bottom front corner right next to those 2 bottom front corner cinches.

The waist has partial drawcord cinches on each side that don\'t go all the way around and it also has a form of button across cinch on the back that will take up slack around the waist.

There is a custom card holder on the right wrist for what I believe to be scope dope for recording windage adjustments.

Going down the center, tip of hood to bottom of smock about 54\" Sleeves end to end about 76\"

I\'m about 5\'8\" 160lbs and while wearing this buttoned up, the bottom of the smock goes past my knees.

The fact that this is made from the rarest camo ever, (I\'ve never seen any other MARPAT Urban for sale have you?) and A LOT of material at that, PLUS the fact that it was made by top tier quality Crye Precision, PLUS being a vintage item, AND in EXTREMELY excellent condition at that, AND of an unknown quantity, AND a completely custom uniquely designed item at that...

This is an investor grade item.

Given all of these factors IMO Make this Smock the single rarest historical military uniform piece of the early 2000s

So with all that being said,.. if you grumble about the price going up, I don\'t really care because I\'ve seen far more stupid and useless things on here sell for a much greater price. (Like Pokemon cards)
