Offered for sale is a heavy clear pressed glass master salt with a faceted sides and a twelve-point burst in the bottom in an ornate silver plate holder by Toronto Silver Co. and silver plate spoon. The salt is 3-1/2\" in diameter (point to point) with a 2-1/2\" in diameter bowl, stands 1\" high and is in very good condition with a few minute flea bites in the rim from use.

The holder is 4-1/2\" at the widest part of the handle and stand 5-1/2\" high. It\'s decorated with intricate leaves, scrolls and wheels and is amazing condition with little, if any loss of plate. The base bears the mark for Toronto Silver Co., Canada, the model number \"627\", and some etched numbers. The plain silver plate spoon is 3-1/2\" long and is marked with very worn English silver plate marks, so I don\'t think it\'s original to the holder.
