This is for a nice old ww2 trench art aluminiumcigarette case made out in Africa at the end ofthesecond world war. It was obviously made by a serviceman stationed in Africa as the back is decorated with a map along with a sunburst. The case has a typical Islamic Mosque on the lid and both sides are inset with red, tan and blue leather panels. The inside is hand engraved and we know these souvenirswere made in the servicemen\'s spare time to be sent home and were made from salvaged aeroplane aluminium. It is a nice genuine item andit is in absolute excellent condition with no damage at all. There is a catch to keep it closed that is made in exactly the same way as a retailed cigarette case of the time with loop to hold a strap for holding the contents.
