Clifton Boutelle photographed Major League Baseball, NFL, and NHL during his 20 year career as a professional sports photographer. During that time he had nearly 100 covers on magazines, including Nolan Ryan on a 1975 issue of Newsweek. Clifton also provided images to Topps and Fleer Sports cards and had assignments for numerous publications including Time, Baseball Digest, Football Digest, Hockey Digest, and Sports Magazine. He was a photographer for the Detroit Tigers for a number of years, including the 1984 World Series and supplied images to the Detroit Red Wings. Most of his work was photographed in Detroit, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh. Full copyrights for any images purchased from within this collection are tansferred to the winning buyer.
