Hello and thank you for viewing my sand, lol. This sand is from the Merzouga Desert in Morocco located on the western end of the Sahara Desert. If you only knew the trouble I had getting my backpack through customs with this, lol. They didn\'t know what to think. Both Moroccan and U.S. customs, lol. Made it through though finally. It must of caused me 5 hours of delays in the airports.
Today you are purchasing a \"teaspoon\" of Merzouga sand in a glass vial. Vial styles may change from time to time depending upon availability when restocking them. Gorgeous deep orange color. Sahara sand is more tan than orange. I brought this sand back with me after spending a month on expeditions for meteorites back in 2016. Took me all this time, 2025, to find it again amongst all the boxes of material I have, lol. I hope you all appreciate my efforts to bring this to the market. Sand from different locations from around the world is highly collectible and quite the big hobby. The vial and sand in the pictures is NOT the exact vial you are purchasing. I make them as you buy them. Enjoy!
