~~~Here\'s a very rare Omega Race cockpit model arcade video game. Legend has it there were under 550 produced and only 40 remain in the world. This is one and the ONLY one on !The game is fully working - all graphics, gameplay controls and sounds function as they should. All self-tests pass.The main PCB has had some battery acid damage that\'s been repaired - this is typical for these games. The acid was neutralized with a vinegar bath and some sockets, chips and other components replaced. It\'s also been upgraded with a battery-free NVRAM upgrade that will save the game\'s high-score, credits and other settings after it\'s turned off, so no more battery related issues at all.The monitor is crisp and bright with the high voltage PCB being recapped for good measure. The main power supply PCB is an original linear which has had the +5v components on the heatsink replaced to provide a solid +5v. The edge connector that connects to the main game PCB for the monitor output has been replaced with a new, modern equivalent to ensure good connectivity.The interior backdrop artwork is not original (professional reprint) thus does not really *pop* under the blacklight as the original artwork did. Nobody is reproducing them yet so this is the best you can get if you don\'t have an original backdrop.The two credit start button does not light up/flash but it does start the game properly just the same. The one credit button does flash as it should and also starts the game properly.One of the interior coin switches does not work but the other does register credits properly (you can set the game to free play if you like via the dip switches). The coin door lights work and the self-test switch works as well.Where possible, the black metal components have been stripped and properly repainted. The floor is original, intact and clean. The plexi dome is crack free but does have some haze to it due to wear and age.The cab\'s far from perfect and I\'ve tried to include the pictures of the worst damage to the cabinet (back monitor door has had some bondo work on the interior and lower corners, too).
