This one was clearly made by Milton Bradley, apparently in 1952 (five years before the success of Sputnik I opened the real-life \"Space Age\"). I\'ve read that this GAME is based on the TV show, \"Captain Video And His Video Rangers\" (1949 - 1957), which has been identified as the first ever TV show based on outer space! I understand this GAME is RARE. The box shows a lot of wear, but no interventions (no Scotch Tape). The GAME itself doesn\'t show any evidence of use! It\'s possible that it\'s complete, but I don\'t know what these had originally. It includes BOARD PLACE MARKERS (which other listed GAMES don\'t show or mention they have) for several players.I\'ve seen comments that it\'s best for 3 or 4 players.
This is a game of space exploration. Players move their four markers through the solar system. Mechanism is Roll/Spin and Move.Movement is controlled by a spinner that is part of the fold-out cockpit dashboard.
