This MAGAZINE is the First Issue of US MAGAZINE - a magazine which was devoted to showcasing the achievements of the Southern Negro.
The Magazine was published monthly from the offices in Memphis, Tn. The \"Profile\" and description of the goals of the magazine can be found on one of the early pages.
This issue of the Magazine contains a photo-spread and story on W. C. HANDY and BEALE STREET in Memphis. There are also many other articles on many aspects of the life of the Southern Negro.
This Magazine was never sold and is in unused condition. There are 32 pages, plus the covers.

These 5 CANVAS COIN BAGS were used by COCA COLA ROUTEMEN to collect the coins in the COCA COLA Machines when the machines were refilled.
Of course, this was back when COCA COLA could be purchased from a machine for much less than a dollar.
As you can see, all the bags are in good condition and the COCA COLA BOTTLING CO. in red is very readable on each. The Bags are 13\" from top to bottom.
