Up for sale is a very nice guaranteed antique early oillamp. This one has a Chi Rho symbol (meaning below). The piece is made out ofbronze and would date to around 1820. Very nice old antique oil lamp. Someinformation also says these would used in some Catholic rituals.

Chi Rho symbol

One of the most common symbols in Christian art is theChi-Rho. It is created by superimposing the first two letters (XP) of the Greekword for Christ, ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ. The monogram, also called a “christogram,”primarilyrepresents Jesus Christ, but is also considered to be a common representationof the crucifixion scene.
